The selected candidate will be in charge of testing water quality, lotions, machines, production equipment, micro tests, and final product testing for microbial content. It is essential to maintain detailed records of all tests conducted for auditing purposes. Additionally, responsibilities include managing the Microbiology Department, upholding GLP standards in the Microbiology Lab, and performing sterility testing.
Key Responsibilities:

Research and Development:
- Conduct experiments to study the growth, structure, development, and other characteristics of microscopic organisms.
- Develop new techniques to diagnose diseases, discover new drugs, and improve existing treatments.
- Investigate the effects of microorganisms on animals, plants, food, and the environment.

Laboratory Work:
- Isolate and maintain cultures of bacteria or other microorganisms for study.
- Identify and classify microorganisms found in various samples (e.g., water, food, soil, human/animal specimens).
- Use specialized equipment such as electron microscopes, gas chromatographs, and spectrophotometers.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyze experimental data to develop and test hypotheses.
- Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations to communicate findings.
- Stay current with scientific literature and advancements in microbiology.
